Since a young age, Lauren has had a passion for creating and has excelled in performing and visual arts. After attending Dreyfoos High School of the Arts focusing on film production, she went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Motion Picture and Television Arts from Florida State University. While at FSU, Lauren worked on over 100 student films and built an incredible foundation that propelled her into the professional industry.
Since beginning her career in Los Angeles, Lauren has had the priveledge to work as a Costume Designer and Assistant Costume Designer on numerous large scale studio and independent film, television, and commercial productions, becoming familiar with a variety of budgets and clients. Lauren is known for her positive attitude; using color, texture, and detail to create and enhance a character; bringing influence from extensive research and practical experiences into the design; integrating costumes with production design and photography; and her ability to design and produce under pressure.
In 2016 Lauren was nominated as Assistant Costume Designer for a Primetime Emmy in Outstanding Contemporary Costumes for the Amazon episodic show Grace and Frankie. She has costumed designed the hit Netflix television series On My Block and Gentefied, bringing African American and Latinx culture to life.
Lauren has also styled commercials for major clients such as Coca-Cola, Miller Lite, and Call of Duty: Ghosts. She has worked with many musicians styling them and their dancers such as Train, Mark Ronson with Bruno Mars, Mary J. Blige, and Rachel Bloom.
